Study Reminder – 2nd Corinthians – Week 2

“In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the likeness of God.” (2 Corinthians 4:4)

For this week, we will study 2 Corinthians, chapters 3 and 4.

Throughout time, there have been many people claiming to know the facts about God. Conversely, only through the grace of God, not by one’s own doing, does one become an apostle.  The devil, however, is working against the light by keeping people from seeing the truth about these “false” apostles and keeping people from learning the true meaning of the gospels. Good news for us, though, is that by the grace of God, we know we will one day be raised up with Jesus to be with Him in Heaven. This knowledge helps us deal with the everyday sufferings we encounter and to see the truth that the gospels bring. Our soul is  increasingly strengthened by the Spirit.
