It is now time to begin studying the Letter of Saint James!

Do you think before you speak? Moreover, do you listen before you speak?  I know at times during conversations or disagreements that we are so focused on what we will say next that we don’t hear what the other person is saying.  Is this true for you when it comes to God speaking to you? Do you ramble on about what you want to tell God and then not listen for His response?  Even more so, when you do listen, do you act according to what He tells you?  It isn’t enough to just hear, we must also act (see James 1:22). What has God told you, and how have you responded?
