Judy Ribar, Associate Director of Retreats at Mount St. Francis, creates programs for adults, leading evenings, days of reflection, and weekends on a variety of themes. She is retired from 41 years in education, where she was an assistant principal, math & computer science teacher, and for 12 years, full-time Retreat Director at Assumption High School.

Reminder: We will resume our bible study on Sunday, January 6th. We will begin studying Second Samuel.

We have come to the end of our study of First Samuel. This week, we will study the final two chapters, chapters 30 and 31. I hope everyone has enjoyed this study as much as I have.

After a two week break, we will then begin our study of 2nd Samuel on January 6th.

It is the 2nd Week of Advent!  Christmas is getting closer. Also, we only have two weeks left on our current study, First Samuel. Then, we will take a two week break and come back to begin our study of Second Samuel.

For this week, please read and study First Samuel Chapters 28 & 29.

I know this is a very busy time of year for most people. It is definitely for me. It can be hard to find time to get everything done. However, I hope you can make time for our study this week, which is 1 Samuel chapters 26 and 27. Maybe, it can bring you some peace during this hectic time, and prepare you for the joyous celebration of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
